Cute Clay Bear Tutorials

Here are some more great clay craft ideas that I have discovered over the years. This time I thought I would share some cute clay Teddy Bear tutorials that can be made from a variety of clays, including polymer clay and air dry clay.

These lovely little bears are a lot easier to make than you may think and with these easy to follow tutorials from some fantastic crafters you will be sculpting in no time. Any of these lovely little bears would be great as cake toppers or gift ideas to add to any teddy bear collection.

Simple Bears

This lovely tutorial found on Cut Out and Keep is an extract from this fantastic book Twenty To Make: Polymer Clay Bears by Birdy Heywood. These great tutorials are also perfect for using with many other clays and I have made lots of cute Teddy Bears using both Polymer Clay and Das Air Dry Clay.

This is a easy to follow tutorial from Polyform that gives very detailed step by step instructions and also offers a great insight into working with Sculpey III coloured polymer clay.

Beach Bear

This sweet beach bear tutorial by Tree House Cakes was created for sugar crafts but many of the techniques and tools are very similar to clay work crafts so can easily be adapted. Try this lovely creation in coloured polymer clay or if you fancy something different why not colour your own clay. Cute Playful Polar Bears

These gorgeous little polar bears are courtesy of Linda Peterson from Amaco posted on Fave Crafts. They would be a great clay starter craft, all you will need is Fimo black and white and a couple of seed beads.

Valentines Bear



This fabulous little Valentines Bear is another sugar craft tutorial, this time from The Cake Room. The post is not in English but can easily be translated by using Google translate although, the tutorial images are so detailed that it is unlikely you will need the translation.
